Great Chip shop.! We came from south London popped in to this shop. And man what a dish up batter crispy no white flour under like you get down south, great value for money we got the Specials they have on the menus suited for all. I recommend this place best I have had. For sure
Amazing staff. Lovely young lady. Said she had worked there for about 3 years. Food was beautiful, and the portion size was good. Husband had fish and chips and thoroughly enjoyed them. I had sausage chips and curry. Choice of fruity curry or normal. I had the fruity and really enjoyed. Like the fact they serve the curry in a tub and don't put on food. Would highly recommend and will certainly go again when we visit Blackpool
Only been around the area about 3/4 years and I can say that this has got to be the best fish and chips I've had in a while. The atmosphere was Chill and our server (Karis)was extremely polite well spoken and matched out energy. Definitely recommend. 5 star from me

After a lovely day with relatives visiting from South Wales, I headed home on the tram from Blackpool North, knowing I had no food at home to cook. Planning to stop at a local shop, I spotted Harrowside Fish & Chips was open and decided a nice plate of fish and chips would be perfect. The restaurant section was clean, well-presented, and wonderfully warm, which was a welcome relief from the howling wind and single-digit temperatures outside. I was greeted with a delightful smile as I walked in and was told I could sit anywhere. Shortly after, a friendly lady with a radiant smile handed me a menu, though I couldn't help but notice the beautifully painted specials on the wall. I ordered fish, chips, peas, and gravy, along with a cup of tea. While my wait for the meal was short, what stood out was the exceptional service. Every employee who passed by asked if I was okay or needed anything. It was a pleasant and heartwarming surprise to see such cheerful and attentive staff, which created an uplifting atmosphere. When my meal arrived, it was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. This truly is the happiest chip shop I’ve ever been to, and I will definitely be back.
